A nimble robot that climbs stairs and traverses rough terrain with unprecedented ease, yet is small enough to use indoors. Built to be a rugged and customizable platform, Spot autonomously accomplishes your industrial sensing and remote operation needs.

Boston Dynamics officially launched a new electric robot. SPOT was in development since long time with numbers of versions, updates and is being used by some industries such as OIL and GAS, Hazardous Inspections, Visual Surveillance with desired payload.

SPOT is an agile mobile robot that you can customize for a wide range of applications. The base platform provides rough-terrain mobility, 360 degree obstacle avoidance, and various levels of navigation, remote control and autonomy. You can customize Spot by adding specialized sensors, software and other payloads. Early customers are already testing Spot to monitor construction sites, provide remote inspection at gas, oil and power installations, and in public safety. Spot is in mass production and currently shipping to select early adopters.

SOPT comes with 360° obstacle avoidance system. IPS54 rain and dust rating and -20°C to 45°C operating environment. Load capacity of 14 KG, and speeds of up-to 1.6 M/s.
